Small Groups, Big Adventures: Why We Keep Our Ratios Low
At Three Tree Forest Adventures, we're committed to providing an enriching and safe experience for every child. That's why we maintain a small adult-to-child ratio for all our forest adventures, including field trips and birthday parties. We believe this approach allows us to create a fun, intimate, and truly impactful experience where children have ample opportunity to play, learn, grow, and explore the forest together.
Here's why smaller groups make a big difference:
Safety First: Nature play often involves healthy risk-taking, which is crucial for development. With smaller groups, our experienced guides can closely supervise and support children, ensuring they can engage in these experiences safely.
Deeper Connections: Smaller groups foster a sense of closeness and camaraderie among the children, encouraging them to connect with each other and the natural world on a deeper level.
Respect for Nature and Others: We emphasize the importance of being respectful to nature, other guests on the trails, and each other. Smaller groups make it easier to model and reinforce these values.
Enhanced Learning: In a smaller setting, our guides can provide more individualized attention, tailoring activities to meet each child's unique needs and interests. This allows for more meaningful and impactful learning experiences. Children won't miss out on any close-up experiences.
Inclusive Experiences: We are proud to provide experiences for children with special needs. Smaller groups allow our staff to provide the additional support and attention these children may require to fully participate and thrive.
We understand that exploring the forest is a journey of discovery. By keeping our groups small, we ensure that every child can embark on that journey with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.
